We are the leading manufacturer and exporter of Dissolved Air Flotation and our product is made of good quality.
DAF, as a water treatment process helps in clarifying wastewater as well as another water source by effectively removing suspended matter from it like oil or solids.
This removal is achieved by dissolving air in water/wastewater under pressure and further releasing air at atmospheric pressure in flotation tank/basin.
With released air forming tiny bubbles, these bubbles adhere to suspended matter that causes suspended matter to float to the water surface where these are be removed through skimming device.
Process:
- DAF uses principle of air floatation for separating contaminants from
waste water like emulsified oils and greases
- These contaminants are first broken from suspension using coagulant
dosing
- For creating larger particles, these small contaminating particles
are united using flocculant dosing
- As these particles are not dense enough for settling though
gravitational process, these are maintained in floating state on the
surface of tank by introduction of minute air bubbles
- These bubbles emerge at base of tanks and get attached to flocked
particles and float to surface as thick scum
- Surface scum gathered is scraped to collection chamber that leaves
behind a clean water to discharge
Applications:
As Dissolved Air Flotation Units (DAF) is suited for liquid-solid separation,
this process is widely used in many industries for separating of free oils
and greases. Dissolved Air Flotation Units process is widely used in treating
industrial wastewater effluents of
